A fat pink creature, famed for sucking up his enemies and stealing their special abilities, who has been a major staple of Nintendo's character lineup for what is getting on for two decades. Kirby's a versatile dude, not only has he romped around in a smorgasbord of indisputedly cute and hallucinogenic worlds via platform games, he's also been known to play pinball (with himself as a ball), golf (again, as the ball), he's taken to the battlefield against fellow Nintendo stars in the successful 'Super Smash Bros.', raced around in a variety of mad vehicles as part of 'Kirby Air Ride', and, most recently, has grabbed a paintbrush and pallette for the Nintendo DS game 'Kirby: Canvas Curse'.

His arch nemesis is a huge, fat penguin donned in a patterned cummerbund and wielding a ruddy great mallet by the name of King DeDeDe.
