Human Radio was an American rock band from Memphis, Tennessee that was regarded by some locals as a "supergroup" because all the members were already well known in the club scene. The group was formed in 1989 by lead singer Ross Rice, and in 1990 they released a self-titled LP on Columbia Records.
Their single "Me and Elvis" was a hit in the US, reaching #32 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, but they broke up soon after due to disappointment with the record label's (lack of a coherent) marketing strategy.
The band members remained close friends, and reunited in 2015 to write new music for an upcoming release. The band has been performing in the Nashville & Memphis area, and has launched an Indiegogo campaign to fund the new album's release and create several new music videos.
