Zurdok is a mexican rock band based in Monterrey. It was formed in 1993 under the name Zurdok Movimento, changing it several years later to simply Zurdok. It was one of the most important bands in the Mexican rock scene at the end of the 1990s and early 2000s.
The band recorded 3 studio albums that were well received by rock en español fans and critics: Antena, Hombre Sintetizador (Synthetizer Man) and Maquillaje (Make-up), released in 1997, 1999 and 2001 respectively.
In the beginning, the band had 2 main singers: Fernando Martz and Chetes, but Martz left the band in 1999 and Chetes remained as the main vocalist. They went into hiatus in 2002, and eventually decided to disband. In 2006, Chetes began his solo career while Martz and David Izquierdo started a Zurdok reunion. Read more on Last.fm.
