Информация о артисте

There are at least four artists by the same name:

1. A rapper from Baton Rouge, LA. Signed to Trill Entertainment, the label fronted by Webbie and Lil Boosie. “Wipe Me Down is a movement,” says Foxx who notes himself as the ‘last to sign, but the first of his kind’. “This is some different shit for Trill but we bringin’ all kinds of shit from under the table. We hit-makers and that’s the bottom line.”

The music described as a street version of Southern funk differs from the neighboring New Orleans bounce, Atlanta snap/crunk and Houston’s screw. Trill’s production style uses heavy drum machines, live bass and guitar, synthesizers and keyboards. The two rhythmic producers work with different styles to make a selection of tracks that stretch far beyond the traditional sound of south.

2. A group called Foxx released their only album in 1970, titled 'The Revolt Of Emily Young' (Decca Records DL 75193). Their music combines elements of psychedelic rock and pop. The songs were composed by Buzz Cason and Pepper Martin. The band members include Pepper Martin (guitar, vocals), Al Perkins (guitar, vocals), Little Joe Martin (drums, vocals), Butch Bourque (bass, vocals), Buzz Cason (as a guest on keyboards, he also produced the album)

3. A melodic hard rock band from USA. The only album they ever put out was "Gangster Of Love" in 1993.

Line up:

Rick Bostique (vocals)
Marty Smilek (bass)
Kevin Tipton (guitar)
George Stallings (drums)

4. An R&B trio of sisters Keena, Klmmala & Michelle Green. Previously known as Greens III, they changed their name to Foxx, and in 1986 released their singular album under this name, titled 'Set Me Free'. A couple years later they again changed their name to Sweet Obsession. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
