В 1993 году Magus (Necromantia) и Sakis (Rotting Christ) решили создать проект под названием Thou Art Lord. Причина была проста: играть быстро, громко - экстремальную зловещую музыку без ограничений. В целом изображение и отношение группы были несомненно сатанинскими в природе, с сильным подтекстом и унаследованным восстанием против этики и образа жизни всех главных религий. Добавив Gothmog (Terra Tenebrae, Mortify) как вокалиста, группа стала трио адского огня!
Первыми их выпусками стали сплит со старой бельгийской black metal группой Ancient Rites и EP "Diabolou Archaes Legeones" (иначе The Devil's Ancient Legions). Релизы были приняты с большим энтузиазмом андерграундной black/death металлической сценой, они продали приблизительно 8000 копий в целом! В 1994 названный "Eosforos" дебютный альбом был выпущен UNISOUND RECORDS. Группа ещё раз доказала свою преданность экстремальной музыке с полностью разрушающим альбомом! Один год спустя второй и более полный альбом, названный "Apollyon", снова выпущенный UNISOUND RECORDS, был доказательством дьявольской ярости и разрывающего насилия. Намного лучше звук, намного лучшая музыка! Восхищение фанатов был снова огромно, но из-за обязательств с их другими группами и музыкальными проектами, главные члены решили заморозить группу, держа будущее восстановление как возможность.
И 6 лет спустя Magus и Sakis решили вернуть Thou Art Lord назад к жизни!! Отчасти утомленное лицемерием и "техническим совершенствованием" текущей black/death сцены это было правильное время, чтобы играть, "no holds barred" экстремальный металл! На сей раз Spiros (Septic Flesh) присоединился к их разрядам как главный вокалист и Akis K. (Naer Mataron, Septic Flesh, Order Of The Ebon Hand) как прекрасный барабанщик. "DV8" название очень ожидаемого несгибаемыми фанатами альбома во всем мире! Альбом - стал уникальной смесью быстрого современного дэд метала и примитивного блэк метала. Все взрывчатые элементы сегодняшней hard/extreme музыки, упакованной в одну большую бомбу, готовую взрываться в ваших ушах! Концепция лирики остается просто сатанинской с акцентом на сексуальном освобождении, инициированием в Более высокие Тайны и качеством Сатаны в течение столетий.
28 марта 2005 года вышел четвертый полноформатный альбом группы - Orgia Daemonicum. В записи альбома участвовали:

It was 10 years ago that The Magus (Necromantia) and Sakis (Rotting Christ) decided to form a project band under the name THOU ART LORD. The reason was plain and simple: to play fast, loud , extreme sinister music without restrictions and limitations. The whole image and attitude of the band was undoubtedly Satanic in nature, with violent overtones and an inherited rebellion against the ethics and lifestyle of all major religions, including a devious occult connection. Adding Gothmog (Terra Tenebrae, Mortify) as a vocalist the band became a hellfire trio!
Their first release was the 7'ep "Diabolou archaes legeones" (aka The Devil's ancient legions) shortly followed by a split 7' ep with the Belgian black metal band Ancient Rites in 1993. The eps were received with great enthusiasm from the underground black/death metal scene and they sold around 8000 copies altogether! In 1994 the debut album entitled "Eosforos" was released by UNISOUND RECORDS. The band proved once more their devotion to the extreme music with a totally destroying album! One year later the second and more complete album entitled "Apollyon" , once again released by UNISOUND RECORDS, was a testimony of diabolic fury and bursting violence. Much better sound, much better music! The receptance from the fans was once again huge but due to the obligations with their other bands and musical projects, the main members decided to freeze the band holding a future resurrection as a possibility.

"DV8" the title of the much anticipated album from the die-hard fans around the world! The album is a unique mixture of fast modern death metal, primitive black metal, haunting melodies, twisted harmonies and even slight new-metal touches. All the explosive elements of today's hard/extreme music, packed into one big bomb ready to explode in your ears!
