В 1998 году, Blac Haze выпустил на лейбле "Warlock Records" свой дебютный альбом "Res-Sa-Rec-Shun", имеющий два потенциальных хита "Let Me Holla at Cha" и "Where-U-At?".

Blac Haze.

Blac Haze is a rapper from the Florida Keys. Little is known about the rapper because of the lack of publicity. His real name is Ted Outler.
Blac Haze has made one recorded live performance, in January 1998 which can be found on youtube, and has made two confirmed music videos but only one, Where-U-At can be found on youtube, and the making of Get Dat Money can be found on youtube too. According to Miami locals, Do U Wanna Ride also featured a music video
Blac Haze may rap like Tupac as part of a marketing strategy to sell more albums as the public becomes more convinced. On the album cover of Res-Sa-Rec-Shun, one can clearly see the difference between the facial structure of Tupac and Blac. Further evidence to dispel the theory that Blac Haze is Tupac is that his name can be found in court records in a dispute with Live Shot Records.
Blac Haze stated that the name of his album Res-sa-rec-shun is about the resurrection of his music career from hard beginnings, not to do with Tupac's resurrection.

RAPPER'S ROOTS INSPIRE HIS MUSIC

Ted Outler is a new face to the local music industry, but he hopes his voice soon will be familiar to South Floridians.
That may come soon, as he prepares for a summer of concert appearances and awaits the release next month of his second CD.
Outler, 25, goes by the stage name Blac Haze, which he inherited from a childhood friend, Ace Jones, who died 1989. ``I wanted to remember my homie and Blac Haze represents the continuation of life in memory of him.''
Outler, who grew up in Liberty City, said he became interested in music at a young age, and started writing music in 1988. ``My father used to play in a band and I would always use the DJ equipment in our home,'' he said.
``Growing up in the inner city has had its ups and downs, and that's one reason my music talks about personal experiences.''
Outler's father died in 1991, and his mother died a year later. With the loss of both parents and many friends, he takes the opportunity to reflect on life through his music. All of his songs relate to autobiographical incidents.
An example of that is his second CD Res-Sa-Rec-Shun , which is scheduled to be in stores July 28. Outler said the title represents his own resurrection, from personal tragedies and problems he encountered earlier in his music career.
Outler's first single, Let Me Holla At Cha , received good airplay on radio stations like WEDR 99-JAMZ and Power 98, as well as local night clubs, said Jason Byron, spokesman for EKG Records, Outler's label.
``[His] first single from the second CD, Where-U-At, has already been making airplay on the radio and has been selling very well,'' said Byron.
Res-Sa-Rec-Shun is a combination of the hard-core reality of the night club scene blended with some smooth party hits, and Where-U-At is a celebration of a playa just having a good time at the club, Byron said.
Outler said his musical influences include LL Cool J, Rakim, Run DMC, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Snoop Doggy Dog, Ice Cube and 2 Pac.
``Being in the business professionally for two years, I still don't know everything, he said. ``I want to gain knowledge about the business and improve myself.''
