Dildo, featuring Paco Familiar and Erik Neville was formed in Mexico City in the late 90s. After playing at discos and parties for over five years, they recorded their debut album Dildo in 2003 on the Antidoto label. Songs like Dixie, Pagarás and Noches de vinil were put into regular rotation on the local radio stations of cities like: Querétaro, Durango, Aguascalientes, Puerto Escondido, Mazatlán, Acapulco, Puebla, Estado de México, Cancún and Cuernavaca. Azteca, Once TV, Canal 52, Canal 28 and Televisa followed the band's progress and even with only one album on the market they were considered one of the best Mexican bands next to Fobia, Café Tacuba, Santa Sabina, El Tri, Zurdok and Jumbo. A project with Enrique Bumbury and Huracán Ambulante landed them with a contract with Universal Music to record their album, Modjo, with five studio works, Martes (The Bull Song), Pide al tiempo, Turbo, Hombre, and an acoustic version of 20 minutos, in addition to Hard Rock Live with live versions of Opresión, Enculado, La primera, Pagarás, Taxi, Loco Corazón, Son 0:15, Noches de Vinyl, 20 minutos, Fabuloso Fred and Dixie, released on April 24, 2004.
