Description for Brazilian Hecatombe:
The band Hecatombe is a Brazilian heavy metal band on the road since 1996, when they still played just covers, to get musical experience. After a long talk, in the beginning of 2000, the four members Nicolau, Troian, Rigo e Dressler decided to record a demo cd, with their own music. This demo was released on march 2000, so called “Nightmares”, with six music, in English. However, after this period, they had a change on their line-up, what at first was difficult to the band, but what the time showed how much it was valuable.
Now, with Mark Nicolau (vocal), Emmanoel Meira (guitar), Mauro Caldart (guitar), Alan Troian (drums) and Fernando Lusa (bass), the Hecatombe has how main influence Megadeth, old Metallica and Iced Earth in the instrumental aspect, and Bruce Dickinson, Hammerfall, Helloween in the vocal one. Heavy lyrics and arrangement, melodic vocal, with feeling and energy, that’s the proposal of the band.
