Rock/punk band Kiros are no strangers to the road. Being part of the Drive Thru Records Canadian Invasion tour, 2 headlining Canadian tours, The Absolute High School Assembly tour, the Canadian dates of the 2004 Vans Warped tour, and the entire 2005 Vans Warped tour, Kiros has taken their powerful, melodic, and driving sound all over North America, then back, and then back again! In 2005 alone, Kiros played over 150 shows!
As an independent band, Kiros has successfully released a 2002 full length record (Counterproductive), and 2 E.P.s (Fight the Night 2004, Kiros 2005). In 2004, two music videos were released which saw tons of airplay on Much Music, and fought their way into rotation on Much Loud and MTV Canada on the shoulders of their fans' overwhelming call in and e-mail requests. Their Fight the Night e.p. was distributed nationally throughout Canada in HMV stores.
Their proven track record of dedication, hard work, and passion speaks volumes, as does their countless thousands of rabid, loyal fans. Their reputation as a tight and energetic live band does precede them wherever they go, but it is truly the message in the music that separates Kiros from the pack. In a time and place where songs of broken hearts and self defeat fill the airwaves, Kiros carries a message of hope, purpose, worth, and destiny. But these arent just lines in a song; its lived out by the members of the band, and the fans are hungry for it. Listeners come to Kiros to find more then just great songs, gripping melodies, musical ingenuity, captivating hooks and tight feels. They find anthems to rise up alongside, to take back their souls, and sense their worth.
