Информация о артисте

Roberto Carlos De Los Rios Reyes initiated his inclination to music at the age of 13 while studying at American Institute (Panama) in the year of 1988.
In 1993 he traveled to Guayaquil to continue his studies but ended working his musical ideas. There, he participated in two contests for rap amateurs, winning both and earning his recording participation in a first album (so far he just recorded for mix tapes).
In 1995 tunes as: “Tranquilo” and “Ella Se Arrebata", became big hits in Panama and Sony Music Central America sings him to release him at a regional level.
In 1997, already with Sony Music and his first album (Tranquilo) rated gold because of its sales, he toured around Central and South America, performing for massive crowds. More than 500,000 people in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Puerto Rico and Panama went to his shows.
As a producer he has developed projects to promote new artists related to his music like “La Union: Rap, Reggae & Flow (1997)”, a sample of the musical anxieties of Latin Fresh calling some of the most representative names of Spanish Rap and Reggae of Panama (La Union was his second CD with Sony Music) and El Waka Attack (2002) that is a improved version of La Union.
In 1999 he brought to us “El Panameño”. With this album he concludes his deal with Sony and stayed as a free agent.
In 2001, now with Fonovisa, he moved with “Los Dementes” to USA for “La Conquista".
In 2002, also in USA, he launched “Latin Fresh”, his third solo album. By that time, Latin increases his popularity in the Latino market very notably.
In 2004 with his forth album, La Cuarta Carta, recorded in Miami, Puerto Rico and Panama and with collaborations by El Roockie, Kafu Banton and Yaga & Mackie Ranks and the best producers of the genre, Latin Fresh became a true leader in Spanish reggae-rap movement.
Now (2006) as an artist of Machete Music, Latin Fresh and his latest album: “Plan Calle”, will be released in US for the first time in his career. As usual this CD overcomes the last one in quality, content and projection.
His music has been used as soundtrack in many documentaries and movies like One Dollar: The Cost of Live and The Live of Duran.
He has shared stage with artists of the size of Gilberto Santa Rosa, El Gran Combo, Elvis Crespo, Salserin, Beenie Man, Los Pericos, Tito Nieves, Ret Rat, Proyecto Uno, Oro Solido, Daddy Yankee, Fulanito and Cuentos De La Cripta among others.
