Goodnight Nurse flew in to the New Zealand music industry like a bat out of hell... blind and screaming. But from a dingy west Auckland garage, where neighbors often mistook their songs for the cries of Satans winged messengers come to signal the end of the world, theyve managed to crawl their way up and into the hearts of NZ people, and are now one of New Zealands biggest rock acts.
Their debut album ALWAYS AND NEVER was released in NZ on Jan 23 2006 through Warner Music, debuting at number 5 on the NZ album charts and going gold in the process. ALWAYS AND NEVER includes previous hit singles Loner, Our Song and My Only, as well as the latest single Death Goes To Disco which is currently on high rotation on radio and TV nationwide.
Now one of the better known names in NZ music, Goodnight Nurse attribute this success not only to hard work but also to the use of tarot cards, the i ching, and the performing of numerous voodoo sacrifices.
Goodnight Nurse have just finished the Rock The Schools tour in Australia, playing at high schools across the east coast from July to September.
Their debut album 'Always and Never' is in stores across Australia and New Zealand now through Warner Music.

Hailing from the West side of Auckland, New Zealand, this 3 piece pop-punk band have been through the ups and downs of what it's like to be in the New Zealand music industry.
It all began in 2002 when Joel Little (guitarist, lead vocals) and Jaden Parkes (drummer, backing vocals) were in high school together and decided to form a band. In need of a bassist an advert was placed, Paul Taite (bassist, backing vocals) was the only person to reply. Paul got the position and Goodnight Nurse was born.
They have released five popular singles: "Loner", "Taking Over", "Going Away", "Our Song" and the new single "My Only". All made it in the Top 20 on debut.
Goodnight Nurse's debut album "Always And Never" was due to be released on November 28th 2005 through Festive Music Records, but sadly the company was bought by Warner Music and the release date was delayed. However, after fans waited patiently for the album to come out it was finally released on the 23rd January 2006 and debuted at number 5 on the New Zealand album charts.
Goodnight Nurse have also added two new members and got rid of their former bassist, Paul Taite and now have Rowan on bass and Sam on guitar and backup vocals
