San Pascualito Rey is an folkloric rock band from D.F. Mexico who like to experiment. The group blends rock with trip hop, lounge, romantic song, Mexican folk music. Their sound is characterized by organic sounds and textures analogy. Currently consists of: Pascual (vocals), Alex Nexus (keyboards), Alex Otaola (guitars), Juan (bass) and Luca (drums).
The group was formed in 2000 when Pascal was invited to play the songs he had recorded a personal demo to some friends and proposes to play them as a group, among them were Adolfo, Nexus, John and Jorch, and so San Pascualito Rey took shape.
A band not afraid to go into different directions moving towards indie, metal, ska, electronics and dark that dominate most of the Mexico underground sub-culture, they sound like: Radiohead walking in Xochimilco. After the disappearance of Caifanes, they are perhaps the only group that still exudes a certain mysticism.
Every song is an introversion to the deepest feelings of loneliness and heartbreak with a mixture of feeling that comes from Mexican folklores and the strength and expressiveness that reinforced quitars screaming synthesizers and desperate overtones. Lush & original music.

El grupo fusiona rock con trip hop, lounge, canción romántica y música folklórica mexicana. Su sonido se caracteriza por ruidos orgánicos y texturas analógicas.
Una banda que no teme ir en una dirección diferente a los movimientos indie, metal, ska, electrónico y dark que dominan la mayor parte del subterraneo en México, su sonido es como: Radiohead paseando por Xochimilco. Después de la desapariciòn de Caifanes, es tal vez el único grupo que aun emana un cierto misticismo.
Cada canción es una introversión hacia los sentimientos más profundos de soledad y desamor con una mezcla de sentimiento que nace del floklore mexicano y con la fuerza y expresividad que las quitarras y sintetizadores refuerzan con chillantes y desesperantes matices.
