Benjamin Stevens Adams (born Benjamin Anthony Stephens on 22 November 1981, Bracknell, Berkshire) is an English singer-songwriter, best known as a member of the popular boyband A1.
In 1997, Ben joined the band A1 and between 1999 and 2002 they scored 3 albums, a string of number one’s and Top 10 hits across the globe. After the band broke up Ben turned his attention to writing and producing for other artists as well as releasing his solo single Sorry.
Before A1, Ben was a member of the choir at St Margarets, Westminster Abbey where he regularly performed for eminent audiences including The Queen and The Pope. He recorded two classical albums with the choir.
Ben Adams participated in the Norwegian version of Strictly come dancing / Dancing with the stars / Let`s dance “Skal vi danse” on TV2 fall 2012. He ended on 2 place behind Norwegian singer/songwriter/ producer Hanne Sørvaag
