Atrist: Akrobatik - Here and Now слова песни

I was born son of Cameron brother of BrendonBeen through so much shit I don`t know how I`m still standinI come from a place that`s cold and darkWhere brothers gotta dodge bullets just to make their markYo I grew up in the eighties around domestic violenceBut my family was proud so we kept it silentThe ladies in my fam held it all togetherAnd I was introduced to rap despite the stormy weatherI remember listenin to Kool Moe DeeI kicked his verses like that shit straight belonged to meI used to loungin in my room bumpin Raising HellWishing I could be like KRS-One or LLAll the honeys gassed me up and made my ego swellCause I was doin it, and doin it, and doin it wellI was only sixteen terrorising the stageThey used to call me Stud B cause I was big for my ageI was rhymin bout my skills and my sexual cloutWhen I barely even knew what I was talkin aboutStraight tellin all my peoples when my album was droppinEvery time the day came there was nuttin to be coppinBut still I rock show after show and never stopIt was obvious that my career will be in hip-hopAnd the reason that I`m here holdin down the fortIs cause my people always gave their never ending supportThe time is now, the place is hereHip-hop`s making a turn for the better this yearThe place is here, the time is nowAkrobatik finally made it to ya`ll some howOne day when I was seventeen I seen this honey round my wayThe way her hips and her ass look bright in my dayMy main objective then was to get her butt nakedI wrote a song about it, put it on my first recordWoman, back with Ruff Enuff and The Fat ShitThese joints put me on the underground mad quickI only wish that grandma was there to see itI`m the man now and she always told me I would be itNow I`m goin outta town wreckin facilitiesBlowin up with Lif on Inhuman CapabilitiesTryin to show these suckas just what lyrical perfection isSo we formed the powerful crew called The PerceptionistsGot the whole world steady waitin on the albumNow in 2003 you`ll see the outcomeYou know by now that I`m here to make a differenceHere`s a sneak pick at the life of Jared BridgemanI`m givin shouts to those who showed loveAlmost drownin theirself just to keep my head aboveThat`s why to ya`ll I`m forever in dayYou all know who you are and I`ll never forget itThe time is now, the place is hereHip-hop`s making a turn for the better this yearThe place is here, the time is nowAkrobatik finally made it to ya`ll some howYeah, the time is now, the place is hereHip-hop`s taking a turn for the better this yearYo, the place is here, the time is nowAkrobatik finally made it to ya`ll some how
