Lexicon - Charismatic Rapper слова песни

Let me take you back to the day when MC`s were shortAnd rap wasn`t treated like a little league sportOn this, "Mom I wanna rap when I come of age"And every MC could control the stageRemember back then, after the backspinBefore everyone who`s a fan was rappinBack when every album had a classic trackAnd if it was on sale then the shit was wackBack when on Tuesday you could find me at the WherehouseEvery new release on one receipt(You remember it man?) I remember it wellBack when Rick the Ruler was still locked in jailBack a half a decade, when everyone had a fadeAnd I taped every video that Rap City playedBefore Black Sheep broke up, L.O.N.S. broke upThe Soul Brothers broke up, Tribe broke upWe were all smoked up, big East coast famBefore Jive became focused only on boy bandsBefore Rawkus, Fat Beats, Bad Boy or No LimitBefore I had a chance to come out independentWhen "Unsigned Hype" was a sign of who`s nextBefore rap artists saw six figure checksBack when, major labels were screwin MC`sand Nirvana and Pearl Jam ran MTVWhen a group put an album out, every few yearsBack when people made music for the listeners ears(You remember it man?) It wasn`t too long agoBefore we were old enough to go to a showIt was just before all the major labels mergedBefore rappers started usin scientific wordsBack when rap fans had a common bondIf I heard a beat, I could name the songBefore every damn track was about a par-tayAnd Fellowship resided on 4th and BroadwayWhen I used to lay in my bed with my walkman onListenin to mix shows `til the break of dawnBack when rap was half mellow, half thugJust before the mainstream, was controlled by SugeBefore Biggie got shot, before `Pac got shotBack when rap was different than what the mainstream thoughtBefore Hilfiger knew, we were wearin his clothesBefore beats took importance over lyrics and flowsBack when Common loved rap, and I did tooAnd every group or MC was a part of a crewBefore everyone was preachin on the five elementsAnd music in videos had no relevanceBefore the reunion of Guy, and EPMDRemember when we all had a favorite MC?Cats had personality in the last chapterLet`s bring it back to the charismatic rapper One two, testin one two Alright party people in the place to be The party has already started, and it`s about to end..{*scratched: "rap is outta control"*}
