When I play the song, I play chords based on the bass line or Iplay the strings part. The bass goes something like this (listen to the cd for the rhythm):-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3--3-3--3-5--5-5--5-7--7-7--7-7--7-7-------------------------------------------Then the same pattern is played descending for the chorus...It sounds pretty good to play chords along with the bass like this:I usually just use clean power chords....C D I find you in the morningE After dreams of distant signsC D You pour yourself over meE like the sun through the blindsThen the chorus goes:E DYou know the way It throws aboutCIt takes you in and spits you outetc..This is how the song goes throughout. Now, I like to play that coolstrings part. This sounds right to me:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------0h2/4-7----9p7h9p7h9--4----0--2--0-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------12----10--8--0h2/4-7----9p7h9p7h9----------12----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------0h2/4-7----9p7h9p7h9--4----0--2--0----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------0h2/4-7-------4--9--7--4--2--0- "I find you in the morning...."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If anyone knows the treble-y sounding strummed guitar mixed really low, I`dlike to have it. If any of this is wrong, corrections are welcome....Lyle Erickson phungus@camelot.bradley.edu
