Rhythmicru - The Facts of War: Part One слова песни

[Cale Sampson]Oil is used primarily as a fuelThere`s only fifty years left of it, it`s non renewableIt`s the gasoline in our automobilesEverything plastic, and all package materialsTelephones, credit cards, toothpasteShampoo, glasses, aspirin, house paintCameras, tires, film, toys, tapeAre just some of the many products that oil can makeThe largest consumer is the United StatesUsing twenty-five percent of all petroleum madeHalf of that`s imported, America needs helpBy Two Thousand and Twelve domestically they`ll run outNow Iraq has the second largest oil reserveBehind Saudi Arabia on the entire earthOne point One Trillion dollars it`s worthAnd there`s plenty undiscovered land yet to be searchedIndustrial countries, depend and relyOn the Middle East to maintain our styles of lifeJust imagine, if they manipulated the priceSo which Countries could grow, was up to them to decideThese denials that the war`s really not about oilAre completely unconvincing, it made my blood boilWhen Colon Powell claimed it would be shared nice & equalHeld in a trusteeship for all the Iraqi peopleC`mon, Who you really think will service these fieldsChevron Texaco and Exxon MobilThe largest energy companies in the nationOut to become the world`s two richest corporationsAnd if you back Bush, you get a part of thisIf you don`t co-operate he makes it very hard to liveGotta wonder, if Nine Eleven`s just an excuseTo go through with something he already wanted to doMan, check his track record, a brutal historyWhy we don`t know more about it still remains news to meThis President never served, when he was called uponAnd pulled strings to avoid combat in VietnamDid you know the first oil drilling business he gotLost lots of money and was a financial flopArbusto, became Bush ExplorationsHoping the family name would help it`s reputationTwo years later it failed as wellHe was bailed out by a College friend from YaleWhen William Dewitt, bought his company outThen merged it with Spectrum Seven as an offer of helpAnd immediately George Bush became C.E.OBut by Nineteen eighty-six, the same tale unfoldsA group of investors, with political motivesAppeared in the nick of time, to become his co-ownersHarken Energy, now listen close herePaid him well over a Hundred-Thousand dollars a yearWith a lack of experience, and financial debtscame an unbelievable chance for them to get richCause close to Iraq, is the Country BahrainFearing an invasion by Saddam HusseinThey bypassed major U.S. oil chainsAnd gave Bush`s company rights to drill their terrainBut by Nineteen-Ninety internal advisorsWarn of the company`s potential demisesAlready a Hundred and Fifty Mill` in the holeAnd if Saddam invades Kuwait stock value will fallOne month later Bush decided to sellTwo-Thirds of the shares in Harken that he heldThat`s a lot, to dump at once on to the marketBut good timing, he made a two-hundred percent profitEight Hundred and Fifty Grand on the dealAt it`s top price on the exchange, what a saleCause Eight days later Harken Oil reportsThat it`s down twenty-five percent and dropping moreWho`s guilty of insider trading hereWhen you look at the facts George Bush should appearEven though he insists, he never got informationAnd was unaware of any kind of dire situationNo one has ever announced who made the purchaseAn unidentified buyer, it`s almost perfectHe also violated S.E.C. regulationsTo announce your deals to them, by a month after you make themBut dad was President, controlled the commissionIn charge of investigating his own son`s suspicionAnd you wonder why, he was never punishedThe case against him was dropped, now it`s over & done with
