Smith Craig - Jehovah слова песни

Craig Smith Psalm 93:1, 90:2, 119:137We come to Thee, O Lord, and bowBefore the King of IsraelGod of strength and majestySacrifices of praise we bring to TheeChorusJehovah, JehovahFrom age to age He is the sameJehovah, JehovahHoly and righteous is Thy nameWe praise Thy name, O Lord, with songHonor and glory to our God belongLord of splendor we proclaimAll heaven and earth do You sustainChorusPraise the name of Jehovah our Lord! When David wrote the Psalms, hecould look across the horizon and see the sunrise. He could marvel atthe Lord`s creation and sing His praises. I can imagine David lying in thegrass looking up at the clouds by day and gazing at the hundreds ofstars on a clear night, penning Psalm 147. His psalms span the earth andthe seasons describing clouds and rain, snow and frost, lightning andhail. The magnificent creation that surrounds us today.Last summer some friends invited my wife and me to join them in Coloradofor a weekend on a beautiful mountain like. As the sun beamed down on usin our fishing boat, we were forced to shed jackets and long-sleevedshirts and enjoy a hot, summer day, while surrounded by breathtakingsnow-capped mountains. The glory of God and His divine nature are trulybroadcast by His creation! (Romans 1:20) He sustains this same heavenand earth from David`s day and before, to our day and beyond.Thousands of years after David with our powerful telescopes, we knowmuch more about our world. We now know the temperature of the sun andits distance from us. We know that our earth rotates around the sun 365times each year. We also know that if the sun was hotter or colder wecouldn`t survive. If it was closer or farther away we could not exist. The more knowledge we have, the more reason for us to know ourexistence is not by chance. Yesterday`s television changed ourperspective, today it is computers, and tomorrow it may besupercomputers. God has allowed us to develop a very complex world. He has provided us the intelligence and the natural resources. We mustnot lose our perspective; we are still living in God`s creation. And Hestill loves our praises! We just have more to praise Him for as wediscover more what He has given us.--David Stubblefield
