Текст песни The Incredible String Band - Creation

The Incredible String Band - Creation слова песни

The messengers with sharpened heelsFlew backwards into whose galloping armsAnd the impassioned PhoenixDrawls a sad goodnight to fiction`s tombThen come to me secretlyAnd with your silken featherAnd with your silken featherOpen your roomsNever, in fact, as he gazed amazedAt two lost eyebrows lisping into the unexpectedAnd the archetypal postman delivering your seed lettersWhose eyes are black eggs reallyUpon a long shore, upon a long shoreOpen your door, open your door`Ask anyone,` he muttered, as he spat a small,Brilliant blue insect whirring into the gauze.`I would advise stilts for the quagmires,And camels for the snowy hillsAnd any survivorsTheir debts I will certainly pay. There`s always a way, there`s always a way.I smiled with that gallantly concealed forceful nervousnessThat has proved that oysters cryAnd that I have come to know and accept as myself. And plucking a barbed feather from the morose universeI called him deathlessAnd he left before he could replyOpen your eyes, open your eyesOur first father, Abraham, whose bosomWas the unique soul of the humansWas certainly as bewildered as we areIf not infinitely more soAnd with an ancient ceremonial gesture of dismissalHe pointed forward.Verily, verilyVerily, verilyThe first day was goldenAnd she coloured the sunAnd she named it HyperionAnd she made it a day of light and healingThe second was silverAnd she coloured the moonAnd she named it PhoebeAnd she made a day of enchantment and the living watersAnd the third was many-colouredAnd she coloured the earthAnd she made a day of joyWith the scarlet strength of seedIn the fourth black and white were mingled into quicksilverAnd she coloured MercuryAnd she made a day of wisdomAnd the signs that are placed in the firmamentThe fifth was bright blueAnd she envisaged JupiterAnd she made a day of awe and circles, circlesAnd she sent it to guide the blood of the universeThe sixth was burning with icy, green flames that glowed whiteAnd of her beauty she made VenusAnd she made a day of loveWhereby all beings are unitedThe seventh was rich purple of the mollusksAnd she coloured ChronosAnd she made a day of idleness and reposeWhereon all beings cease from struggle.Verily, verilyVerily, verilyI am the pebble in your very own eyeI am the sword and your enemy dies.I am the storm and the hurricane windI am the thorn of an unkind friendI am desire what colour my eyes?I am Loki wizard of liesCatch me, find me, see me if you canI am the guilt of an honest manThen seven times we raised our arms and with cat-stretchSent our footspells yawning into the multitudesIn need we called upon the mother of all livingThree times for succorBut with ambitious spears they made us changeThey crouched behind their mirrors and fought on.I will not allow them praiseThat broke the harmonious globe in splintered fragmentsAnd yet they moved perforce with a perfect patternAnd complemented harmony with dischordAnd light with darknessIt was then that we stepped out of our world machineBetween the palm and the fingersPeeling like glovesAnd for each eye that shed one tear,We made of that tear an oceanAnd in the five directionsWe loosed our several craft.Wild sea, I say today,Please be a sweet cow for meAmethyst galleon, out on the rolling seaGentle as lightning, easilyTake me to the root of the world treeAmethyst galleon, out on the rolling seaYour face is consumed in a bruised sky`s glanceBy the brazen wall with your sword and lanceWhereWhere dappled maidens, endless dancedRound the root of the world tree.Wild sea, I say todayPlease be a sweet cow for meAmethyst galleon, out on the rolling seaWild sea, my love is salty for meEvery ripple in her body is a wave in meAmethyst galleon, out on the rolling sea.
