Текст песни Josh Martinez - Deny

Josh Martinez - Deny слова песни

So this is war, more blood poured from the fountainAs I`m counting on the cold handOf those that abstain and demandMore ground gained from the crosses that we follow into battleI swallow in the whole Earth rattleIt was all too real from the moment that I peeledMy steel cap backAnd saw the black knife fade into first lightSome fat balding man had the clever insightThat might makes right so under infrared sightWe steadily advanceI raised from my crouched stanceAs boards marked the time I danced through lines of dead menWho`ve been forever left behind and lie with their own kindBut I turn my mind off, desensitizingI find myself surmising on how I can plant my flag upon the horizonSo glory finds me and I can behistory`s first living soul on the beaches of NormandyAnd slay me a thousand GermansCause revenge is burning hot as pistol shot and I can smell bodiesRotting on both sides of the divide but the tide of the battle has turnedThe good guys have returnedSo we succeed in the beachhead but success is relativeRelatively high numbers of dead blood stained human remainsBut the Nazis fled so we advance into FranceWe meet the underground resistance behind enemy lines, making good distanceAt the insistence of our leaderswe follow up on every lead, even a tree can be a trapBut one look at the map showed the Germans were withdrawingCitizens were applaudingas they plotted how to pay back the citizen assassinsWe started liberating towns to the ticker-tape tiradesOf humans too tired to wage war anymoreIt looked like war had but a few months left before we could all restAnd go home to our familiesBut then we heard rumor of a placeWhere an entire human race was taken and laid to wasteA camp where crazed experiments take placeAnd rows of corpses overflowed mass gravesThere were things to be seen and turn you to burn insideThe soldiers were told to see with their own eyesSo I went to see it so I could explain without laying blameHistory`s made a name of stories so I will call it as I see itI see fit to record it so the truth cannot be distortedBut I must warn you, truth is coldSouls stolen from right under the skinA prison where inmates` fate was wrapped and layThe feat past the gates and doctors decidedWhether you were pesticide-ed or provided with a tattoo used to ID youWhen death from exposure overcame youSo I walked past the gates and saw plain brick buildingsAnd then the real world faded"I hated every breath:" the words to express what I saw when Auschwitz fellA living hell, you couldn`t tellThe living dead from the skeletons enveloped in this valley of deathThe stink of charred flesh made my breath catchWe couldn`t match the millionsof dead civilians to what we had believed to be humans"How could this happen?" I asked my captain and for a momentThis proponent of atonement just shook his headCause it was best left unsaidBut being Jewish on the other side of the divide meant I knew my historyWithout having to face its wrathThe path of six million goes way beyond the math*I can`t understand the way you feel*See Poland fell first and Jews were the first to feel itHerded into units by perverted Germans who used their loose libertiesTo sexually abuse and misuse in full view of the cameraBut it never made the newsCause most Poles agreed that all Jews were infectedThey infested every stock-invested bankAnd every government think-tank had at least a Jew or twoSo who am I to play the fall guy? When I cast my eye on the neighbor`s grasswhere it`s truly greener on the other sideI must confide that I hate Jews just about as much as the Germans doSo when the burning smoke chokes out the air and all I smell is burning hairI`ll turn a blind eye and complyWith every single lie that you make us recite so we won`t ask any questionsI`m just an average citizenSee many Europeans felt that Jews were just pollutionA problem finally solved by the Final SolutionWhere Communists, Jews, gypsies, and handicapped queersAll became the target of irrational fearsfed by the flames of state-sponsored propagandaAnd that`s when one man began to expandhis theories of inferiority and spread it like a virusSo Jews were enclosed in ghettoes completely frozen from contactBeyond that flat where fifteen people slept back to backWhere liberty and property were stolenOn the grounds that Jews were the chosen scapegoatsSo oats were torn and the horns soundedAs the hatred rose from town to town the world was astoundedThat the Nazis would treat some citizens so ruthlessBut without documented proof the accusations were toothlessAnd since the persecuted were JewishThe world watched and did nothingSee hate was fanned into obsessionObsessed by the extermination of a nation founded by religionSo a nation created in fear and xenophobiaproceeded to eliminate sanction by the stateBut bullets were too expensive and didn`t kill fast enoughPlus the mass graves made it hard to denythe use of slaves digging their own gravesSo science was used and compounds were createdto make the killing less anticipated and more efficientA pesticide called Zyklon B was usedto see hundreds of strangers into the gas chambersWhich they were told were the showersThe children, women, and elderly must have been smellyCause immediately upon entry they were all sent to the showersSo the world watched and somebody had to knowThat six million Jews went to camp and just didn`t come homeAs I stare down the trackswhere trains packed humans in cattle cars behind steel barsThe motto of this camp attracts my eye, it says: "Arbeit Macht Frei"Meaning "Work will make you free" but all those who died insideProbably never saw the ironyThis place had an evil feeling as we roamed building to buildingSights before my eyes, each one the less appealingA room piled to the ceiling with gold filling teethThe next filled with shaved human hairSoon to become some German chair and plush sofaSuffocating stench as I clench my teeth, for what I reached next:I saw ten huge chimneys burning gas, Jews to ashesA whole section dedicated to storing glassesconfiscated from the dead for resaleI felt frail and had to leave this hell or be consumed by its spellI`ve long since left but I consider it my dutyTo bring this tragedy to the attention of a countryWho pats itself on the back for helping in the occupationAnd bring freedom to a federation of the oppressedbut Canada must be undressedIts dirty laundry put to restOur country frowned on the slaughter, perpetratedA crime so anti-human we were all left exasperated but it faded over timeAnd if you think Denmark smelled rotten soon our feelings weren`t forgottenBut I will never forget that this nation did nothingAnd when our government feigned sadness they must have been bluffingCause before and during the war all the way into the fiftiesCanada`s immigration policy was just as clear as any:One Jew is one Jew too manySo how can we condemn when we had a chanceTo open up our arms and give our home to the survivors?Instead we gave the red carpet to ex-Nazi storm ridersWhose record checks seemed to have been forgottenat the border in the disorderWhy do you think we still keep finding outthe Nazis are our neighbors fifty years later?Ask me if I think we should`ve done moreIt`s all said and done with now so what the fuck for?My task and all I ask is that you never forgetCause those who forget: history will repeat itThe Nazis were defeated yet the lies live on and spawnIn the ignorance of those whose motives reap itAnd claim death counts were made up as if we needed to exaggerateBut I saw how hate could make right-thinking people deviateWhen they create excuses for the nooses and reasons for the bleedingBut nothing made as much sense as "Seeing is believing"I can`t stop cryingThis isn`t humanOnly illusion, but I`m tryingWhat I saw will defyToo many dead to identifyCities disappear and whole families dieSo when you deny, spreading lies my mind burns with the pictures left behindPlease look inside my eye and tell six million Earth citizens whyAll I want to know is how the hell can you deny? How the hell can you deny? How the hell can you deny? How the hell can you deny...
